Embarrassing Office Parties etc.

January 28, 2008 by artistsandsaboteurs

Being forced to socialise with the people you work with can be excruciating. Whether simply drinks together after work or organised activities designed to embarrass you as much as possible, it seems like management love throwing workers together and making them squirm. Share your stories about bowling evenings, karaoke nights, 70s disco parties and any other similar activities that you’ve had to endure with colleagues, from the cringeworthy to the ridiculous.

Brutal Bosses

Bosses tend to be universally hated. With good reason, because they act like little dictators, pushing their employees around and loudly censuring every smallest mistake. Working too much?

January 1, 2008 by artistsandsaboteurs

Do you come close to falling asleep at your desk sometimes because you’re so tired? Is there more coffee flowing through your veins than blood in the early hours of the morning? The UK regularly tops the charts in surveys of working hours in Europe, and we want to hear your stories about the situations that contribute to those awful statistics. If you or your colleagues or friends work late too often for comfort, or if any of you have had to pull all-nighters (or worse!), tell us about it!
